Job Description
We need an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a long-term locum tenens assignment at a Level II Trauma Center in Kankakee, Illinois. This opportunity is well-suited for CRNAs looking for consistent weekday work in a hospital setting with a manageable case mix, no call responsibilities, and strong clinical support.
This assignment offers 8- or 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with guaranteed hours and no nights, weekends, or on-call requirements. A possible completion bonus is available for CRNAs who commit to the full assignment term. The facility utilizes a supervision model and provides modern anesthesia equipment and efficient workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services in a hospital operating room environment
- Deliver care for bread-and-butter, general surgery, and orthopedic cases
- Work collaboratively within a medically supervised anesthesia care team
- Ensure safe anesthesia delivery across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases
- Complete accurate and timely documentation using facility EMR systems

Job Requirements
- Active Illinois CRNA license required
- NBCRNA certification
- Ability to work effectively within a supervised care model
