Locum CRNA – Illinois (2.5 Hours South of Chicago) | $2,400–$2,600/Day | No Call
Job Description
Ongoing locum tenens CRNA opportunity located approximately 2.5 hours south of Chicago, Illinois. This is a supervised model position (1:2 / 1:3 ratio) providing coverage for a Level I Trauma facility with a strong bread-and-butter and orthopedic case mix.
CRNAs may place epidurals and spinals if proficient. Cardiac, OB, and pediatric cases are available for experienced providers. EPIC EMR experience preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care in a Level I Trauma setting
- Manage bread & butter, orthopedic, and trauma cases
- Perform epidurals and spinals if proficient
- Participate in supervised anesthesia care team model (1:2 / 1:3 ratio)
- Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care across diverse surgical services
Compensation & Benefits
- $2,400–$2,600 per day
- 1099 independent contractor
- No call requirements
- Malpractice coverage provided
- Ongoing coverage through 12/31/2026
Job Requirements
- NBCRNA certified (Board Certified required)
- Active Illinois license or in process
- ACLS and PALS required
- Ability to obtain emergency privileges within 3–4 weeks
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
Schedule & Work Environment
- 5x10s, 5x8s, or 12-hour shifts based on availability
- No first or second call responsibilities
- Supervised anesthesia care model
- Single hospital location
- Immediate start available
