A healthcare facility in Jupiter, Florida is urgently seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens assignment with immediate availability. This role is structured as a 1099 independent contractor position and features a consistent Monday through Friday schedule consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The facility supports a broad mix of surgical services without trauma exposure, allowing CRNAs to focus on high-quality anesthesia care in a controlled and well-organized environment.
The case mix includes general surgery, orthopedics, gastrointestinal procedures, robotics, obstetrics with required C-section coverage, radiology, endoscopy, ophthalmology, plastics, ENT, and neurosurgical cases. While epidural skills are helpful for OB coverage, they are not required, and there is no trauma call. CRNAs in this role may also have the opportunity to perform their own nerve blocks at times, offering a level of procedural autonomy that appeals to experienced clinicians.
This position is well-suited for CRNAs who value flexibility, autonomy, and a steady weekday schedule in a desirable Florida location. Credentialing typically averages around 120 days, and start dates are available immediately for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for a wide range of non-trauma surgical procedures
- Deliver anesthesia care for general surgery, orthopedics, GI, robotics, and specialty cases
- Support OB anesthesia services including C-sections when scheduled
- Perform nerve blocks when clinically indicated and appropriate
- Maintain safe anesthesia practices and accurate clinical documentation

Job Requirements
