Job Description

This locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) position is based in Lincoln, Nebraska and offers an independent practice model within a hospital operating room and cath lab setting. The role is well-suited for CRNAs seeking flexible scheduling, consistent daytime hours, and freedom from call or weekend responsibilities.

The assignment is available for an immediate start once credentialing is completed, with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 60–90 days. Coverage needs are flexible, ranging from one to four weeks per month, making this an attractive option for CRNAs who prefer control over their schedule or are balancing multiple assignments.

CRNAs in this role will practice independently and primarily manage vascular and electrophysiology cases. The environment supports efficient workflows and predictable day shifts, allowing providers to focus on clinical care without additional administrative or after-hours obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services in hospital operating room and cath lab settings
• Independently manage vascular and electrophysiology cases
• Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care in accordance with facility protocols
• Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation
• Collaborate effectively with procedural teams to support patient safety and efficiency

Schedule & Work Environment

• Locum tenens assignment
• Hospital OR and Cath Lab practice setting
• Coverage: 1–4 weeks per month
• Day shift schedule
• No call responsibilities
• No nights or weekends
• Independent practice model

Job Requirements

• Active NBCRNA certification
• Eligibility to practice as a CRNA in Nebraska
• Comfort practicing independently in a hospital-based setting
• Experience with vascular and electrophysiology cases preferred
