Locum CRNA in Vail, CO – $1,900–$4,000/Day + Housing, Call Pay, and Bonuses
Job Description
Vail Health is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a high-paying locum tenens opportunity in the heart of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. This 1099 position includes 10-hour shifts, optional call with added compensation, and the chance to work across multiple Vail Health facilities. Housing support is available. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective anesthetic plans across various procedures
- Independently manage patient airways and monitor vital signs pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
- Work collaboratively with a care team including anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff
- Provide anesthesia at Vail Health Hospital, Vail Valley Surgery Centers, and Dillon Surgery Center
- Maintain complete, legible medical records and support ongoing patient safety initiatives
Compensation & Benefits
- Daily rate: $1,900 – $4,000 depending on experience and scheduling
- $10,000 sign-on bonus available
- Evening, night, and weekend shift differentials
- On-call pay for weeknights and weekends

Job Requirements
- CRNA certification and current Colorado licensure required
- Minimum 5 years of CRNA experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Skilled in airway management and chronic pain techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic medical records
Schedule & Work Environment
- 10-hour shifts with flexible scheduling
- 80 hours biweekly expected
- Optional on-call shifts with additional compensation
- Variable coverage across multiple Vail Health facilities
