Job Description
Anesthesia On Call is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens opportunity in Cadillac, Michigan. This role offers true independent practice in a scenic northern Michigan community, ideal for CRNAs who are confident managing a full scope of anesthesia care, including regional anesthesia and obstetrics. The position supports a steady surgical volume in a Level III trauma facility with a collaborative clinical team and no in-house call requirement.
CRNAs in this role will work across a diverse case mix while enjoying the autonomy of an unsupervised practice model. The hospital maintains an efficient operating environment with five operating rooms and a balanced team of CRNAs and anesthesiologists. This assignment is well-suited for providers seeking professional independence, predictable workflows, and the opportunity to practice in a close-knit medical community.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent anesthesia care across surgical and procedural services
- Perform preoperative assessments and develop anesthetic plans
- Administer and manage general, regional, and neuraxial anesthesia
- Provide obstetric anesthesia care as needed
- Manage post-anesthesia recovery and patient safety
Compensation & Benefits
