Job Description
A locum tenens opportunity is available for a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Venice, Florida, with a start date in July. This position offers a consistent swing shift schedule in a care team model with anesthesiologist supervision.
CRNAs will provide anesthesia services across a variety of general surgical cases, excluding cardiac and pediatric procedures. This role is ideal for experienced providers seeking a flexible locum assignment with predictable hours and no call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop care plans
- Monitor patients throughout procedures to ensure safety
- Manage airway and anesthesia delivery during cases
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery and patient care
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Florida license or ability to obtain

- Locum tenens 1099 position
- Start date in July
- Swing shifts: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- No call, nights, or weekend requirements
