Locum CRNA – Near Fort Lauderdale – 10 or 12-hour shifts
Job Description
A facility near Fort Lauderdale, Florida is seeking a locum tenens CRNA for coverage in a high-volume surgical setting averaging approximately 680 cases per month. This 1099 opportunity offers 10 or 12-hour shifts with limited weekend call responsibilities.
Clinicians with a clean Florida license may qualify for expedited temporary privileges within 2–3 weeks.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services across a broad case mix
- Cases include ortho, general surgery, vascular, eyes, urology, neuro, EP, plastics, OBGYN, thoracic, ENT, OMFS, pain, and GI
- No hearts or pediatric cases
- Perform trauma and ultrasound-guided regional procedures
- Willingness to be cross-credentialed at multiple locations
Compensation & Benefits
- 1099 locum tenens contract
- Rush start available for clean, Florida-licensed clinicians (2–3 weeks)
- 10 or 12-hour shifts
Job Requirements
- NBCRNA certification required
- Florida license preferred; will accept non-Florida licensed CRNAs
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Experience with trauma and ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia required
Schedule & Work Environment
- Locum tenens position
- 10 or 12-hour shifts
- One weekend day of call every other month
- High-volume surgical environment
