Locum CRNA Needed in South Florida – 3×12 Hospital Schedule (No Call/Weekends)
Job Description
A high-volume inpatient medical center in South Florida is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for a locum tenens assignment near West Palm Beach. This role offers a desirable 3×12 daytime schedule, no call, no weekends, and a broad surgical case mix within a supportive, team-based environment. It is an excellent option for CRNAs seeking predictable hours and flexibility in a coastal Florida location.
Practice Environment
This is a medically directed hospital-based anesthesia practice that also utilizes Anesthesia Assistants. Credentialing includes both the hospital and an affiliated outpatient surgery center. The anesthesia team supports diverse service lines with established workflows and consistent case volume.
Case Mix & Anesthesia Scope
- General surgery
- Orthopedic procedures
- Gastrointestinal and endoscopy cases
- Robotic-assisted surgery
- Obstetrics, including C-sections
- Radiology and interventional procedures
- Ophthalmology and plastics
- ENT and neuro cases
- No trauma anesthesia
Schedule & Workload
- Locum tenens position
- Day shifts only
- 3×12 schedule, Monday through Friday availability
- No call responsibilities
- No weekends
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provision of anesthesia care in a medically directed model
- Preoperative assessment and anesthesia planning
- Intraoperative anesthesia management and monitoring
- Post-anesthesia care and patient handoff
- Collaboration with anesthesiologists, AAs, and surgical teams
Compensation & Employment Structure
- Employment model: 1099

Candidate Requirements
- Active Florida CRNA license required
- NBCRNA certification required
- ACLS required
- BLS required
- PALS required
- Minimum of 6 months CRNA experience required
