Job Description

Independence Anesthesia Services (IAS) is seeking a locum CRNA for a Trauma Level 3 OR/Surgery Department in Dothan, Alabama. This assignment provides strong clinical variety across a broad case mix with full-time scheduling options and the ability to extend the contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care across general, orthopedic, neuro, peds, thoracic, and regional cases.
• Deliver safe and effective anesthesia management within a supervised model.
• Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists and surgical staff in a high-acuity setting.
• Support perioperative workflows and patient care across the OR.

Compensation & Benefits

• Full-time locum assignment for 3–6 months with option to extend.

Job Requirements

• Active Alabama CRNA license required.
• ACLS certification.
• Ability to work 8- or 10-hour shifts.
• Minimum credentialing timeframe of 90–120 days.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time scheduling beginning ASAP.
• Supervision model at a 1:3 or 1:4 ratio.
• No OB or cardiac cases.
• Call requirements to be determined.
