Job Description
Independence Anesthesia Services (IAS) is seeking a locum CRNA for a Trauma Level 3 OR/Surgery Department in Dothan, Alabama. This assignment provides strong clinical variety across a broad case mix with full-time scheduling options and the ability to extend the contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care across general, orthopedic, neuro, peds, thoracic, and regional cases.
- Deliver safe and effective anesthesia management within a supervised model.
- Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists and surgical staff in a high-acuity setting.
- Support perioperative workflows and patient care across the OR.
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time locum assignment for 3–6 months with option to extend.
- Weekly pay and travel reimbursement for flight/lodging/rental car or mileage.
- Credentialing support and licensing assistance.
- Access to benefits through Independent Contractors Benefits Association (ICBA).
- Referral bonuses available through IAS program.
Job Requirements
- Active Alabama CRNA license required.
- ACLS certification.
- Ability to work 8- or 10-hour shifts.
- Minimum credentialing timeframe of 90–120 days.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time scheduling beginning ASAP.
- Supervision model at a 1:3 or 1:4 ratio.
- No OB or cardiac cases.
- Call requirements to be determined.
