Job Description
Locum CRNA Opportunity in North Carolina for experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in North Carolina beginning in January. This assignment offers exceptional flexibility with multiple shift options, a competitive hourly rate, and no call responsibilities. All malpractice, housing, and travel expenses are covered.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care across a range of surgical cases, including general, vascular, neuro, GYN, urology, and orthopedic procedures.
- Work within a supervision model—blocks not required.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during pre-, intra-, and postoperative phases.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff.
Compensation & Schedule
- Hourly Rate: $230/hr (Overtime: $250/hr)
- Shifts: 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts available
- Call: None required
- Benefits: Paid malpractice coverage, housing, and travel reimbursement
- Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor
Job Requirements
- Active or eligible North Carolina CRNA license
- NBCRNA certification
- Ability to work independently under physician supervision
- Strong clinical and communication skills
