Locum CRNA Position in O’Fallon – General, Ortho & OB Coverage
Job Description
This locum CRNA opportunity in O’Fallon, Illinois offers a diverse case mix, modern charting systems, and a supportive supervised practice model. With 20 anesthesia rooms and a strong clinical team, this assignment provides a stable, high-volume environment just minutes from St. Louis.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for general surgery, orthopedics, and obstetrics
- Perform thorough pre-anesthesia evaluations and formulate patient-specific plans
- Deliver anesthesia care under physician supervision within a 2:1 CRNA-to-MD model
- Monitor patient status throughout procedures and manage recovery handoff
- Document all care using Epic and iPro charting systems
Compensation & Benefits
- 1099 locum tenens engagement
- Travel and lodging stipends included
- Malpractice insurance provided with tail coverage
- Privileging timeline approximately 74 days
Job Requirements
- Active Illinois state license required
- Experience with general, orthopedic, and obstetrics anesthesia
- Ability to work efficiently in a supervised anesthesia care model
- Comfort using Epic and iPro (training available if needed)
Schedule & Work Environment
- Supervised anesthesia care team (up to 2:1 CRNA-to-MD ratio)
- 20 anesthesia rooms across a busy surgical environment
- Physicians also perform their own cases
