Locum CRNA – Rochester & Upstate New York | $2,500–$3,000/Day
Job Description
Long-term locum tenens CRNA opportunity at a Level II Trauma Center in Rochester and surrounding Upstate New York. This is a care team model (1:3 ratio) where CRNAs often function with a high degree of independence. Assignment length ranges from 6 months to 1 year, with ongoing coverage needs.
Case mix includes general bread-and-butter anesthesia with epidurals, regional blocks, spinal anesthesia, and airway management. No cardiac or thoracic cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services in a Level II Trauma setting
- Perform epidurals, spinal anesthesia, and regional blocks
- Manage airway and ventilator support as needed
- Deliver anesthesia care across general and OB cases (approx. 1,700 deliveries annually)
- Collaborate within a 1:3 care team model
Compensation & Benefits
- $250 per hour
- $1,400 weekly stipend

- 40 hours: $11,400/week
- 50 hours: $13,900/week
- 60 hours: $16,400/week
Job Requirements
- NBCRNA certified
- Active New York license or willing to obtain
- ACLS required
- Comfortable with regional anesthesia and OB cases
- EPIC EMR experience preferred
Schedule & Work Environment
- 10-hour shifts
- 40-hour minimum guarantee, up to 60 hours available
- Full-time preferred; will consider 2 weeks per month
- Overtime, call, and weekend shifts available
- Credentialing timeframe: 45–75 days
- Immediate start once credentialed
