Job Description

This locum tenens CRNA opportunity is with an established all-CRNA private practice operating multiple office-based and outpatient procedural locations throughout the Greater Houston Area. The position is ideal for CRNAs who are comfortable practicing independently in office-based and outpatient lab environments and who prefer a schedule without call responsibilities.

The practice focuses on pain management, interventional radiology, and select bread-and-butter general anesthesia cases. Providers will rotate across multiple sites within the Houston metro area, offering case variety while maintaining predictable daytime workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia services in office-based and outpatient procedural settings
  • Independently manage anesthetic care from pre-procedure assessment through recovery
  • Administer anesthesia for pain management and interventional procedures
  • Support IR and OBL cases requiring consistent airway and hemodynamic management
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation per practice protocols
  • Collaborate with proceduralists and clinical staff across multiple locations

Clinical Case Mix

  • Pain management procedures
  • Interventional radiology cases
  • Peripheral arterial disease (PAD) interventions
  • Epidural steroid injections (ESI)
  • Kyphoplasty
  • Uterine fibroid embolization (UFE)
  • Fistula creation
  • Select bread-and-butter general anesthesia cases

Compensation & Engagement Details

  • Daily rate: $1,600 per day
  • 1099 independent contractor position
  • Locum assignment with defined end date
  • Malpractice structure handled by the practice
  • No call, no nights, and no weekend obligations

  • Daytime procedural schedule
  • Multiple office-based and outpatient locations

Job Requirements

  • Active CRNA certification (NBCRNA)
  • Eligibility to practice in Texas
  • Comfort with office-based anesthesia and outpatient lab environments
  • Experience with pain or IR cases preferred
  • Strong independent practice skills
