Locum CRNA – Syracuse / No Call 1099 Contract
Job Description
A short-term acute care hospital in Syracuse, New York is seeking a locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). This assignment offers competitive compensation, malpractice coverage, and full travel and lodging support. The role provides diverse case exposure under a care-team model with no call responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver anesthesia care across general, bariatric, gynecology, obstetrics, spine, orthopedics (with blocks), neurology, and select pediatric cases
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans
- Provide intraoperative anesthesia and post-anesthesia management
- Collaborate with supervising anesthesiologists and surgical teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
Schedule & Work Environment
- ASAP start available
- Monday through Friday, 5×8-hour shifts
- No call requirements
- Setting: Short-term acute care hospital
- Care team model with medical supervision
- Credentialing timeframe: approximately 30 days

Job Requirements
- NBCRNA-certified CRNA
