Job Description

This locum tenens CRNA opportunity is located in Minot, North Dakota and offers consistent weekday coverage in a medically directed hospital-based anesthesia practice. The assignment is designed for experienced CRNAs seeking predictable daytime hours without call responsibilities while maintaining exposure to a broad surgical case mix.

The role involves working closely with anesthesiologists in a collaborative care model. CRNAs will provide anesthesia services across multiple specialties, supporting efficient operating room workflows while delivering safe, high-quality patient care. This assignment is well suited for providers who value structure, professional support, and reliable scheduling over an extended coverage period.

Coverage spans multiple blocks from early April through the end of September, offering both short-term and longer-term continuity depending on availability. All shifts are weekday day shifts, typically starting early in the morning and concluding mid-afternoon. Friday availability is required, and no call responsibilities are assigned for this role.

Schedule & Assignment Details

  • 8-hour daytime shifts, Monday through Friday
  • Typical hours: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
  • No call, nights, or weekend requirements
  • Multiple coverage blocks available from April through September

Clinical Practice & Case Mix

  • Medically directed anesthesia care model
  • General surgery, orthopedics, OBGYN, ENT, vascular, and healthy pediatric cases
  • Orthopedic and gynecologic cases included
  • Obstetric cases included; CRNAs do not perform epidurals
  • No cardiac or neuro cases
  • GI cases are rare and may occasionally be independent if needed
  • No regional anesthesia or pain management responsibilities

Provider Requirements

  • Recent clinical anesthesia experience within the past 12 months
  • Active state licensure
  • NBCRNA board certification
  • Current APRN, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
