Job Description

Edgeford Recruitment is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 6-month locum tenens contract at a medical center near Arlington, Texas. This full-time assignment offers flexibility in scheduling, excellent compensation, and a focus on adult and geriatric cases in a collaborative inpatient hospital environment. No OB cases, call, or weekends required.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for adult and geriatric patients in a hospital setting.
• Perform pre-anesthetic evaluations, develop individualized plans, and monitor patients throughout the perioperative process.
• Work under a medical direction model to ensure the highest standards of anesthesia safety and quality.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes and case efficiency.
• Document all procedures accurately in the Epic EMR system.

Compensation & Benefits

• $1,600–$2,500 per day (based on experience and schedule)

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Active Texas CRNA license required
• Minimum of 2 years of anesthesia experience
• Experience with adult and geriatric cases

• No OB anesthesia required (spinals and epidurals not necessary)

Schedule & Work Environment

• Locum Tenens position (6-month assignment)
• Flexible scheduling: choose from 4x10s, 5x8s, or 3x12s
• No weekends or call requirements
• Inpatient hospital environment with medical direction model
• Credentialing timeline: approximately 120 days (due to system transition)
