Job Description
This locum tenens CRNA opportunity is available at a small, well-supported community hospital in Effingham, Illinois. The facility is a 133-bed Level II hospital with a steady, predictable case mix and no trauma exposure. This assignment is ideal for CRNAs seeking a weekday-only schedule with no call, nights, or weekends, while still maintaining clinical variety. The practice follows a supervised care team model and utilizes Epic for charting. Expedited credentialing is available, and completion bonuses may be offered for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for bread-and-butter cases
- Manage general surgery, orthopedic, OB, and healthy pediatric cases
- Work collaboratively within a supervised anesthesia care model
- Deliver safe, efficient perioperative anesthesia services
- Document anesthesia care accurately using Epic EMR

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Comfortable with OB and healthy pediatric cases

Schedule & Work Environment
- Four 10-hour shifts per week (Monday–Friday)
- No call, no nights, and no weekends
- Contract length: 4–12 months with option to extend
- Five operating rooms in a community hospital setting
