Locum Tenens CRNA – Vail Health (Colorado)

Job Description

Vail Health is seeking experienced CRNAs for a locum tenens opportunity at its hospital and surgery center locations in Vail and Dillon, Colorado. This is a high-compensation role offering housing support, flexible scheduling, and the chance to work in a premier mountain destination. CRNAs will collaborate in a care team model to provide safe and effective anesthesia services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute individualized anesthetic plans
• Manage airway and respiratory status of patients
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
• Prepare operating rooms, anesthesia equipment, and supplies
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Stay current with advancements in anesthesia techniques and technology

Compensation & Benefits

• Daily compensation: $1,900–$4,000 depending on schedule and on-call
• $10,000 sign-on bonus
• Evening, night, and weekend shift differentials
• On-call pay

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years CRNA experience required
• Skilled in airway management and chronic pain techniques
• Licensed as an RN and CRNA in Colorado (or compact state license)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office software
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field required

Schedule & Work Environment

• 10-hour shifts
• Expected 80 hours biweekly; overtime available
• Variable schedule based on hospital and ASC needs
• On-call availability with additional pay
