Job Description
A Houston-based hospital is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for an ongoing locum tenens assignment within a Level I trauma center. This opportunity offers consistent coverage with flexible scheduling and no call requirements, making it ideal for CRNAs seeking reliable locum work in a high-acuity environment.
CRNAs may work a minimum of 2–3 days per week, with flexibility to pick up additional shifts as available. The department offers 8-, 10-, and 12-hour weekday shifts, Monday through Friday. Longer shifts are available for providers seeking increased volume. There is no call, no nights, and no weekend coverage required.
This is a hospital-based role focused on trauma anesthesia, with additional exposure to outpatient surgical cases and occasional regional anesthesia. Providers will be responsible for patient rooming, obtaining consent, IV placement, and perioperative preparation. This 1099 locum assignment begins as soon as credentialing is completed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care in a Level I trauma hospital setting
- Manage trauma anesthesia cases as primary clinical responsibility
- Perform patient rooming, consent, IV placement, and case preparation
- Participate in occasional regional anesthesia and outpatient surgical cases
- Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia care in a fast-paced environment

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Current CRNA certification required
