South Dakota Locum CRNA – $225/hr, 8-Hour Shifts, All Travel Paid

Job Description

Join the largest rural not-for-profit healthcare system in the nation, with 45 hospitals across nine states. This is a busy, high-volume surgical environment offering a full spectrum of anesthesia services. Flexible scheduling available—8-hour shifts preferred, with the option for 10s.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in a medically directed care team model (86 CRNAs, 22 MDAs).
• Manage a wide variety of cases including ortho, neuro, urology, robotics, hearts, OB/GYN, pediatrics (including critical peds), structural heart cath lab procedures, radiology, advanced ENT, kidney transplants, GI, neuro interventional radiology, and IVF.
• Support high-volume operations: 36 ORs, 5 cath labs, 9 GI rooms, and up to 7 out-of-department coverage areas.
• Collaborate with a fast-paced, multidisciplinary surgical team.

Compensation & Benefits

• $225/hr guaranteed for scheduled 8-hour shifts.
• $240/hr for OT and call backs after scheduled hours.
• Weekday beeper call: $400 plus $240/hr for call backs (2-hour minimum per call back).
• All travel expenses reimbursed; lodging or stipend provided.
• Malpractice insurance (claims made) provided.

Job Requirements

• Current NBCRNA certification.
• Ability to work in a medically directed care team environment.
• Comfortable managing a broad range of anesthesia cases in a high-volume setting.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
• 8-hour shifts preferred; option for 10s may be available.
• No regular call, but compensation structure in place if needed.
