Job Description

An established community hospital in Griffin, Georgia is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for ongoing locum tenens coverage due to a current staffing vacancy. This is a daytime-only opportunity ideal for CRNAs seeking a predictable schedule, consistent weekday hours, and a low-stress call-free environment. The assignment is available for an ASAP start and will remain open until a permanent provider is hired, with a minimum commitment of three months.

The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with no call, no weekends, and no overnight responsibilities. The hospital operates fewer than ten operating rooms and maintains a well-organized, full-service anesthesia department. CRNAs practice with a high level of autonomy under an MD supervision model and are supported by an experienced perioperative team.

The case mix consists of bread-and-butter anesthesia cases, including general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, urology, gastrointestinal procedures, gynecology, and obstetrics. There are no cardiac cases, no neuro cases, and no sick pediatric patients, making this an excellent fit for CRNAs comfortable with routine inpatient and outpatient surgical care.

Credentialing is expected to take approximately 60 days, and candidates must hold an active Georgia license (or be willing to obtain one), along with ACLS, BLS, and Georgia CSR. Travel and lodging options are flexible, and feedback from the facility is typically provided within 24–48 hours.
