A hospital in New York is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a locum tenens assignment through GQR Healthcare. This opportunity offers high hourly compensation, weekly stipends, and travel reimbursement, with a six-month length of assignment and the option to extend.
CRNAs in this role will work within a care team model supporting a busy obstetric and general anesthesia service. The assignment begins as soon as credentialing is completed and offers flexible scheduling options for providers seeking either full-time or partial-month coverage.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for bread-and-butter and obstetric cases
- Administer epidurals, spinals, regional anesthesia, and airway management
- Participate in obstetric anesthesia coverage with approximately 1,700 deliveries annually
- Collaborate within a care team model (1:3)
- Document anesthesia care using EPIC EMR
Compensation & Benefits
- $250 per hour base rate
- $1,400 weekly stipend
- Estimated weekly earnings:
- 40 hours: $11,400
- 50 hours: $13,900
- 60 hours: $16,400
- Malpractice insurance provided
- Weekly pay, license reimbursement, and credentialing assistance
Job Requirements
- Current CRNA certification in good standing
- Eligibility for licensure in New York
- Experience with obstetric anesthesia and regional techniques
- Ability to work within a hospital care team model
- Availability to complete a 60–90 day credentialing process
Schedule & Work Environment
- Locum tenens assignment with flexible scheduling
- 10- or 12-hour shifts available
- Minimum of 40 hours per week; up to 60 hours guaranteed
- Hospital-based anesthesia practice
