Job Description
Recruiting Resources is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in Central Illinois. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling and a diverse case mix in both GI and outpatient surgery. The position is located in a high-performing Level 1 Trauma Center with a strong Anesthesia Care Team model. Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for a variety of outpatient and GI procedures
- Monitor patient responses to anesthesia and adjust care as needed
- Administer medications and anesthesia agents according to care plans
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Manage airway and ventilation during procedures
- Ensure proper documentation of all anesthesia care provided
Compensation & Benefits
- $235 per hour
- Travel and lodging expenses covered
- Medical malpractice insurance provided
Job Requirements
- Board Certified CRNA
- Active Illinois CRNA license or eligibility for licensure
- Comfortable with all aspects of anesthesia care in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Experience with outpatient and GI cases preferred
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR system preferred
Schedule & Work Environment
- Monday–Friday schedule
- 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM shifts (5x8s preferred; 4x10s may be considered)
- 35–40 cases per day
- Anesthesia Care Team Model
- No weekend or call requirements
