Job Description
Malabar Anesthesia Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled CRNA for locum coverage at an Ophthalmology ASC in Columbus, OH. This role focuses exclusively on conscious sedation for cataract procedures in a streamlined, fast-moving clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide conscious sedation for ophthalmologic procedures
- Administer typical sedation including 1–2 mg Versed and occasional 1 ml Fentanyl
- Rare Diprivan use for retrobulbar blocks performed by the ophthalmologist
- Ensure safe patient monitoring throughout procedures
Compensation & Benefits
- $185 per hour
- 8-hour daily minimum guaranteed
- Malpractice insurance provided
Job Requirements
- Active CRNA license
- Experience with MAC and light sedation preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in an ophthalmology ASC setting
Schedule & Work Environment
- Locum Tenens position
- No call
- No weekends
- Ophthalmology ambulatory surgery center
