AIM Anesthesia is seeking an experienced CRNA for a full-time locum tenens assignment in Charlottesville, Virginia. This 1099 opportunity offers strong base pay, generous overtime rates, quick credentialing, and flexible shift options in a Level I trauma-capable hospital environment. This role is best suited for confident CRNAs comfortable managing higher-acuity patients without pediatric or cardiac cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care in a hospital-based trauma-capable setting
• Manage unstable patients when necessary
• Place arterial lines, IVs, and spinal anesthesia independently
• Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

Case Mix

• General Surgery
• Orthopedics
• Neurosurgery (limited)
• Trauma (daytime, infrequent)
• No cardiac cases
• No pediatric cases

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Full-time coverage available
• 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts available
• Weekend shifts optional for stacking 12s
• No call required
• 13+ week contracts considered
• ASAP start with quick credentialing

Compensation

• $225 per hour standard rate
• $270 per hour overtime
• $1,800–$3,300 per day depending on hours worked
• 1099 independent contractor role

Job Requirements

• Active Virginia CRNA license
• NBCRNA certification required
• ACLS and PALS required
• Comfort with trauma-capable hospital environment
• Flu and COVID vaccines required (no waivers)
