Aurora Medical Centers in Southeastern Wisconsin are seeking locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for ongoing opportunities across multiple sites. Key Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia and manage patients across a variety of surgical specialties.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform preoperative assessments and develop anesthesia plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Maintain accurate anesthesia documentation and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards.
Compensation & Benefits
- $250 per hour flat rate
- Travel and lodging provided
- Holiday schedule: Off for New Year’s, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas
Job Requirements
- Active Wisconsin CRNA license
- NBCRNA certification
- Current ACLS and DEA certification
- Experience with bread-and-butter cases; regional anesthesia skills preferred
Schedule & Work Environment
- Monday – Friday, 8–10 hour shifts
- No call, no weekends, no holidays
- Credentialing timeframe: ~60 days
Facility & Case Mix
- Aurora Medical Center – Kenosha: Independent model with ortho (with blocks), spine, GYN, ENT, GI, and robotic bronchoscopy.
- Aurora Medical Center – Burlington/Lakeland: Independent model with ENT, GI, ophthalmology, general, ortho, GYN, and urology. Optional light weekday call.
- Aurora Medical Center – Mount Pleasant: Collaborative care team model with bread-and-butter cases (urology, ortho, GI, general, light vascular).
