Job Description
Seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide locum tenens coverage during the holiday week of December 21–28 in Texas. This solo position offers a low case volume and excellent compensation, perfect for a CRNA confident in independent practice and OB anesthesia.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services independently in a low-volume hospital setting.
- Perform OB anesthesia and regional blocks as needed.
- Ensure patient safety and continuity of care throughout the perioperative process.
Compensation & Benefits
- Daily Rate: $2,500/day (total $17,500 for 7 days)
- Malpractice insurance, housing, and travel covered
- 1099 independent contractor arrangement
Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Proficient in OB anesthesia and regional blocks
- Comfortable working independently in a solo practice environment
Schedule & Work Environment
- Assignment Dates: December 21–28
- Schedule: 24/7 on-call coverage
- Low volume — approximately 5 deliveries per month (~500 cases annually)
