Locum CRNA for New York Community Hospital – $275/hr All-Inclusive

This locum tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) opportunity is available at a busy community hospital in New York and is ideal for experienced CRNAs seeking a stable, longer-term assignment with a predictable schedule. The position offers an all-inclusive rate of $275 per hour and is designed for full-time coverage only, with no partial-month availability considered.
The assignment is expected to begin quickly, with an emergency start timeline of approximately 2–4 weeks. The length of assignment ranges from six months to one year, making this a strong option for CRNAs looking for continuity and consistent income without call or overtime expectations. The practice environment provides light supervision, with a small anesthesia team that allows opportunities to manage your own cases.
This role focuses exclusively on adult patients and involves a straightforward bread-and-butter case mix. There are no obstetrics, cardiac, neuro, trauma, or pediatric cases. CRNAs can expect a consistently busy environment, including general cases and cath lab coverage, while working within a collaborative and efficient care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for adult surgical patients
- Manage bread-and-butter anesthesia cases in a community hospital setting
- Participate in general OR and cath lab anesthesia coverage
- Work under light supervision with opportunities for independent case management
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC EMR system
Schedule & Work Environment
- Locum tenens assignment
- Full-time only (minimum 4 weeks per month required)
- Schedule options: 4×10-hour shifts or 5×8-hour shifts
- Start time: 7:00 AM
- No call required
- No overtime opportunities
- Light supervision model with a small provider team
Job Requirements
- Active New York CRNA license in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- Experience with adult anesthesia cases
- Ability to commit to full-time locum coverage
