Locum CRNA in South Dakota – $225/hr + Travel, Lodging & OT at $240/hr

Job Description

Recruiting Resources is hiring CRNAs for a locum tenens position with one of the largest rural not-for-profit healthcare systems in the country. This opportunity features an extensive case mix, flexible scheduling (8s preferred), full travel reimbursement, and lodging support. Work alongside 86 CRNAs and 22 MDAs in a medically directed care team model at a high-volume facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver anesthesia in a medically directed care team model
• Work across a wide range of specialties including ortho, neuro, GI, OB/GYN, pediatrics, robotics, structural heart, and more
• Support 36 ORs, 5 cath labs, 9 GI rooms, and multiple out-of-department areas

Compensation & Benefits

• 1099 contractor position
• $225/hour guaranteed for scheduled 8-hour shifts (M–F, 7 AM – 3 PM)
• $240/hour for OT and call backs (after scheduled shift hours)
• Weekday beeper call: $400 flat + $240/hr for callbacks (2-hour minimum)
• All travel expenses reimbursed
• Lodging provided or stipend available
• Malpractice coverage provided (Claims Made)

Job Requirements

• NBCRNA certification – required
• Active South Dakota CRNA license – required
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced setting

Schedule & Work Environment

• Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 3 PM (8-hour shifts preferred)
• Care team model: 86 CRNAs / 22 MDAs
• Approx. 3,000 anesthetics/month
• Spinals, epidurals, and blocks performed by MDAs
