Job Description
A Level III trauma center in Virginia Beach is seeking experienced locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for ongoing coverage beginning February 2026. This is a care-team model environment offering a broad and complex case mix, ideal for CRNAs looking to maintain high-acuity skills while working flexible shift lengths.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care in a Level III trauma hospital setting
- Manage adult cases with some pediatric exposure
- Perform spinals, epidurals, and regional anesthesia
- Provide OB anesthesia coverage as needed
- Manage neuro (spine) and complex vascular cases
- Perform ventilation management
- Insert central venous and arterial lines
Compensation & Benefits
- Locum Tenens 1099 position

Schedule & Work Environment
- Flexible shifts: 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts based on department needs
- Infrequent call with negotiable call expectations

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Virginia CRNA license required
- Comfort with high-acuity hospital cases
- Ability to take infrequent call
- Experience with regional anesthesia, OB, neuro, and vascular cases preferred
