Job Description

This locum CRNA assignment in Niagara Falls, NY offers a flexible schedule, temporary privileges for a fast start, and supportive supervision within a four-room anesthesia environment. Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services for general surgery, orthopedics, OB (C-sections only), and endoscopy
• Perform preoperative assessments and develop appropriate anesthesia plans
• Deliver anesthesia under physician supervision within a 4:1 care team model
• Monitor patient safety and manage intraoperative anesthesia care
• Support postoperative recovery and ensure smooth transitions of care

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with ability to work in a supervised care team
• Comfort with general, orthopedic, OB C-section, and endoscopy cases
• Ability to work efficiently in a paper charting environment
• Eligibility for temporary hospital privileges

Schedule & Work Environment

• Supervised anesthesia care team model (4:1 CRNA-to-MD ratio)
• Physicians also perform their own cases
• Four anesthesia rooms with a variety of case types
• Stable workflow with preferred 8-hour shifts
