Job Description

Recruiting Resources is seeking experienced CRNAs for a highly flexible and well-compensated locum tenens assignment in Idaho. This opportunity features a robust clinical environment, multiple shift options, and extensive overtime availability for CRNAs looking to significantly increase their earnings. The position offers a mix of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts totaling 40 scheduled hours each week, with schedules released six weeks at a time to allow for planning and stability. The assignment prefers a minimum 3-month continuous commitment, with the option to extend. Call is required but manageable—one weekend call per month and two weeknight calls per month, with the option to substitute a Saturday or Sunday shift every three months. CRNAs will work across a Level II Trauma setting with a wide variety of case types, including general, ortho, spine, plastics, EP, GI, IR, and healthy pediatrics. The main campus operates under a supervision model with ratios up to 4:1, while the nearby Nampa location offers independent practice for CRNAs comfortable performing OB. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver anesthesia care across a broad caseload including general, ortho, spine, plastics, EP, IR, GI, neuro, and healthy pediatrics
  • Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop individualized anesthetic plans
  • Manage intraoperative anesthesia in a Level II Trauma environment
  • Perform spinal blocks and occasional arterial lines (optional)
  • Participate in required call: one weekend per month and two weeknights per month

Job Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctorate from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • NBCRNA certification required
  • Active license or willingness to obtain Idaho licensure
  • DEA and CSR required
  • Minimum one year of experience
  • Comfort working in a supervision model and Level II Trauma environment

Schedule & Work Environment

  • 3-month minimum contract with option to extend
  • 40-hour work weeks across 8s, 10s, and 12s
  • Call requirements: 1 weekend/month + 2 weeknights/month
  • Level II Trauma hospital with 378 beds
  • 17 main ORs, 7 day-surgery ORs, plus cath lab, endo, radiology, MRI, and specials
  • Supervision model (4:1); independent practice available at nearby campus (OB required)
  • EMR: EPIC
