A large hospital system in Idaho is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a locum tenens assignment with strong overtime potential and flexible shift structures. This opportunity is ideal for CRNAs looking for consistent full-time coverage with a wide-ranging surgical case mix in a high-acuity hospital environment.
CRNAs in this role will work primarily in a supervised anesthesia model while supporting multiple anesthetizing locations across a large medical campus. A nearby affiliated facility offers an independent practice model for CRNAs interested in that setting, with additional scope requirements.
Job Highlights

Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical specialties
- Work within a supervision-based anesthesia care model (up to 4:1)
- Administer spinal anesthesia as required
- Support anesthetizing locations including ORs, cath labs, endoscopy, radiology, and MRI
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and perioperative teams to ensure safe patient care
Compensation & Benefits
- $225 per hour base compensation
- Significant overtime opportunities based on scheduling needs
- 1099 independent contractor status
- Scrubs provided by the department
- Malpractice coverage arranged through the recruiting agency
Job Requirements
- Current CRNA certification (board certified required)
- Minimum of one year of clinical anesthesia experience
- Eligibility for licensure in Idaho (open to licensing candidates)
- Active DEA and CSR
- Comfort managing Level II Trauma cases
- No requirement to perform regional blocks, epidurals, or central lines
Schedule & Work Environment
- Locum tenens assignment with 40 scheduled hours per week
- Shift lengths vary weekly between 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts
- One weekend call per month and two weeknight calls per month
- Option to substitute select weekend shifts in place of call
- Schedules provided six weeks in advance
