Job Description
We are partnering with multiple reputable hospitals across southeastern Virginia to provide locum tenens coverage for experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs). This opportunity offers flexible weekday scheduling with the option for varied shift lengths and exposure across several hospital settings.
CRNAs will support a broad, high-acuity case mix and rotate between affiliated facilities as scheduled. Assignments are designed to accommodate provider preferences while maintaining consistent coverage needs. This role is well suited for CRNAs seeking clinical variety, competitive locum compensation, and full travel support.
This is a 1099 locum position with paid travel and expenses, comprehensive malpractice coverage, and dedicated recruiter support throughout the assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care across multiple hospital sites in southeastern Virginia
- Perform spinal, regional, epidural, and obstetric anesthesia
- Manage neurosurgical spine, complex vascular (excluding open heart), and orthopedic cases
- Insert central and arterial lines as required
- Support ventilator management and perioperative patient care

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Board certification required
- Eligibility for Virginia CRNA licensure
- Advanced skill set including regional, OB, spine, and vascular anesthesia
- Comfort rotating between multiple hospital environments
Schedule & Work Environment
- Locum tenens assignment
- 8- or 10-hour shifts, Monday–Friday
- Weeknight and weekend call coverage required
- Hospital-based anesthesia practice across multiple sites
