North Dakota Locum CRNA Job – $250 Hour Level II Trauma
Job Description
A locum tenens CRNA opportunity is available in North Dakota offering competitive hourly compensation, travel support, and long-term assignment potential into 2026. This role is based in a Level II trauma hospital with a medically directed anesthesia care model.
CRNAs will work across multiple procedural areas including the main operating rooms, outpatient surgery center, and specialty procedural suites. This position is ideal for providers seeking a stable locum role with diverse case exposure and strong clinical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical and procedural cases
- Assist in bread-and-butter cases including orthopedics, ENT, GI, and women’s health
- Perform epidurals and regional anesthesia as needed
- Support procedures in endoscopy, cath lab, interventional radiology, and cancer care
- Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop care plans
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and ensure safe anesthesia delivery
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists in a medically directed model
Compensation & Benefits
- $250 per hour
- Housing provided or housing stipend available
- Rental car reimbursement included
- 1099 independent contractor position
- Long-term assignment availability into 2026
Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active or eligible North Dakota license
- Experience with general anesthesia, epidurals, and regional blocks preferred
- Ability to work in a medically directed anesthesia model
- Comfortable working across multiple procedural settings
Schedule & Work Environment
- Immediate start available
- Level II trauma hospital setting
- 15 operating rooms including 4 in the outpatient surgery center
- Additional coverage areas include endoscopy suites, cath lab, interventional radiology, and cancer care
- 24/7 in-house anesthesiologist support
- CRNA call coverage available but not required to stay in-house
- Case mix includes general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, GI, and women’s health
- EMR system: Epic
- Medically directed anesthesia care team model
