Pittsburgh Locum CRNA Opportunity – Flexible 12–24 Hr Shifts with 36-Hour Guarantee

Job Description

This hospital-based locum position in Pittsburgh offers CRNAs a flexible schedule with 12-, 16-, or 24-hour shifts and a guaranteed 36-hour work week. Providers will support a busy anesthesia department across a wide range of surgical specialties while working within a 1:3 supervision model. Night shifts are especially needed, and candidates may commit as little as 2 days per week or 2 weeks per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective anesthesia care across multiple inpatient surgical specialties.
• Conduct thorough pre-anesthetic evaluations and develop tailored anesthesia plans.
• Manage intraoperative anesthesia delivery and continuous patient monitoring.
• Ensure smooth post-anesthesia transitions and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with supervising anesthesiologists and perioperative team members.

Compensation & Schedule

• Schedule Options: 12-hour, 16-hour, or 24-hour shifts
• Guaranteed Hours: 36-hour work week
• Call: No call required
• Commitment: Minimum 2 days per week or 2 weeks per month
• Supervision Model: 1:3 anesthesiology supervision
• Travel & Lodging: Provided

Job Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania CRNA license
• NBCRNA certification
• ACLS, BLS, and PA Child Abuse clearance
• Minimum 5 years of CRNA experience
• Ability to manage a broad case mix including General, Ortho, ENT, Neuro, CV-open heart, Urology, GI, and OB
