1099 Locum Tenens CRNA – East Stroudsburg

A national private practice group is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. This opportunity offers consistent weekday coverage with a structured care team model, a defined schedule, and a substantial completion bonus for providers who meet the full assignment requirements.

This position is ideal for CRNAs looking for longer-term locum stability with predictable shifts and a diverse but manageable case mix. The facility utilizes an Epic charting system and supports a collaborative anesthesia care team environment.

The assignment includes a $15,000 completion bonus for CRNAs who complete 13 weeks or 520 total hours. Estimated privileging time is approximately 6–8 weeks. Candidates who are not currently licensed in Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply, as those needing to obtain a state license will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for general surgery, obstetrics, orthopedics, and limited pediatric cases
• Participate in a medically directed care team model
• Deliver safe, effective anesthesia services during scheduled shifts
• Work collaboratively with anesthesiologists and surgical teams
• Utilize Epic EMR for anesthesia documentation

Schedule & Work Environment

• Assignment Duration: Ongoing
• Shift Type: 8-hour day shifts
• Shift Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (includes unpaid lunch)
• Providers are expected to work the full 8-hour shift
• Second call (beeper): 1–2 times per week
• Occasional 24-hour in-house call

• 9 Main Operating Rooms
• 2 Cardiac ORs
• 2 OB ORs
• Additional GI, EP, and IR suites
• CRNA-to-MD ratio approximately 3:1
• Anesthesiologists occasionally perform their own cases
