Job Description
AMN Healthcare is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This position offers exceptional pay, 10-hour weekday shifts, and travel and lodging support. Work with a highly skilled clinical team while providing anesthesia services across a diverse and challenging case mix in a leading healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for a broad range of surgical procedures including pediatrics, adult orthopedics, urology, complex spine, ophthalmology, and plastic surgery.
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans for each patient.
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patient status throughout the surgical process.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia team members to maintain efficient and safe operating room practices.
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for documentation and patient management.
Compensation & Benefits
- $2,000–$3,000 per day
- 1099 independent contractor status
- Travel and lodging expenses paid
- Ongoing assignment with potential for long-term engagement (through 2027)

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Minnesota CRNA license required
- Board Certified
- Proficiency with a wide range of anesthesia techniques and case types
- Radius restriction: must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility
- Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
Schedule & Work Environment
- Locum Tenens position – ongoing through 12/31/2027
- Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts
