Arizona Locum CRNA Job $250 Hourly + Weekly Stipend OB Cases Call Rotation Available
Job Description
A locum tenens CRNA opportunity is available in Arizona offering competitive hourly compensation and a consistent weekday schedule. This role is within an all-CRNA practice model managing a diverse case mix, including general, orthopedic, and obstetric anesthesia.
CRNAs will work in a structured care environment with opportunities for call participation, OB coverage, and in-house night shifts. This position is ideal for experienced providers comfortable with epidurals, spinals, and ultrasound-guided regional techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care across general, orthopedic, and OB/GYN cases
- Perform epidurals, spinal anesthesia, and regional blocks
- Manage OB cases including C-sections and deliveries
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and ensure safe anesthesia delivery
- Participate in call rotation and in-house night coverage as scheduled
- Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams in a CRNA-only model
Compensation & Benefits
- $250 per hour
- $1,850 weekly stipend
- 1099 independent contractor position
- Consistent weekday schedule
- Additional compensation opportunities through call and night shifts
Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active or eligible Arizona license
- Strong experience with epidurals, spinals, and regional anesthesia required
- Proficiency in ultrasound-guided techniques
- Ability to work independently in a CRNA-only practice model
Schedule & Work Environment
- Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Approximately 5 CRNAs staffed daily
- Rotating call schedule approximately every 12 weeks
- Primary call is in-house with post-call day off
- Secondary call includes 30-minute response time
- Optional in-house night shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 12 operating rooms with approximately 6,500 cases annually
- Case mix includes general surgery, orthopedics, OB/GYN, and VBAC cases
- EMR system: Cerner
- All-CRNA practice model
