Job Description
A short-term locum tenens opportunity is available for an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Springfield, Missouri. This inpatient assignment is scheduled as a single-day coverage need and is ideal for CRNAs with strong acute-care and advanced procedural experience.
The assignment runs from January 12 through January 13, 2026, with a 10-hour daytime shift from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. CRNAs will provide anesthesia care for complex cases, including neuro and spine procedures, within a hospital-based inpatient setting.
This role is best suited for seasoned CRNAs who are comfortable managing high-acuity cases and advanced airway and monitoring responsibilities. New graduates are not eligible for this assignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for complex inpatient surgical cases
- Support neuro, spine, ENT, and electrophysiology procedures
- Perform arterial line placement, intubations, and ventilator management
- Deliver spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia as indicated
- Ensure safe perioperative management throughout the procedure

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Missouri CRNA licensure required
- NBCRNA board certification required
- Experience with complex neuro and spine anesthesia
- No new graduates accepted
