Job Description
A locum tenens CRNA opportunity is available at a medical center near Gainesville, Florida, offering a structured schedule with no call, nights, or weekends. This role provides the chance to work in a high-acuity Level 1 trauma center while maintaining excellent work-life balance.
CRNAs will practice in a fully supervised model, delivering anesthesia care across a broad range of surgical cases in an inpatient hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for a wide variety of surgical procedures
- Participate in pre-anesthesia evaluations and care planning
- Administer and monitor anesthesia throughout procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during perioperative care
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists in a 100% supervision model
- Document care accurately in the medical record
Compensation & Benefits
- $2,200 per day
- 1099 independent contractor position

Job Requirements
- Active Florida CRNA license required
- NBCRNA certification required
- Minimum of 6 months CRNA experience required
- Current ACLS and PALS certifications required
- Ability to work in a supervised anesthesia care model
Schedule & Work Environment
- Locum tenens assignment (1099)
- Assignment length: 1 year with option to extend
- Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
- No call responsibilities
- No nights or weekends
- Facility: Inpatient hospital, Level 1 trauma center
- Case mix includes all types except OB, pediatrics, and cardiac
- Start date: As soon as credentialed
