Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care within a care team model for a variety of surgical and procedural cases.
• Manage anesthesia for general surgery, orthopedics, GI/endoscopy, and other bread-and-butter cases as assigned.
• Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and formulate appropriate anesthetic plans.
• Monitor patients intraoperatively and adjust anesthetic care to maintain safety and stability.
• Participate in postoperative evaluation and handoff to ensure smooth recovery and continuity of care.
• Collaborate effectively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing, and support staff in a mid-size hospital setting.

Job Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) with current certification.
• Eligible for Pennsylvania CRNA licensure.
• Comfortable working in a care team model at a mid-size hospital.
• Ability to manage general surgery, orthopedic, GI/endoscopy, and other bread-and-butter cases.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to integrate smoothly with existing anesthesia and OR teams.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Duration: Locum tenens, with current need starting immediately and coverage through 12/31/2026.
• Schedule: Flexible Monday–Friday schedules with 8-hour shifts (40 hours per week).
• No call or weekend requirements.
• Care team model with anesthesiologist supervision.
