CRNA Job – Locum Tenens with High OT Potential in Minnesota
Job Description
A locum tenens opportunity is available in Minnesota for CRNAs seeking a flexible schedule, strong earning potential, and autonomy. This all-CRNA practice covers a 48-bed facility with 4 ORs, offering a wide mix of outpatient procedures, orthopedics, and OB. With generous overtime and call-back compensation, this assignment is ideal for providers looking to maximize income.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care across general, orthopedic, OB, and outpatient procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients throughout procedures
- Perform regional anesthesia via ultrasound, including interscalene, epidural, and thoracic blocks
- Participate in flexible call rotations as scheduled
Compensation & Benefits
- $230/hour with 8-hour daily minimum (Mon–Fri)
- Overtime at $250/hour after 8 hours
- M–F beeper call: $400
- Call-backs: $250/hour with 2-hour minimum
- Weekend call: $1,700 per 24 hours (includes 2 hours of call-back time)
- Lodging provided
- Travel reimbursed at IRS mileage rate or airfare/rental car (pre-approval required)
Job Requirements
- CRNA certification with eligibility for Minnesota licensure
- Ability to work independently in an all-CRNA practice
- Proficiency with regional anesthesia techniques
- Comfortable taking call and responding within 15 minutes
Schedule & Work Environment
- Flexible scheduling options (2 weeks on/1 week off or customized weeks)
- Approx. 6–8 cases daily with average cut time of 8:00 AM
- 30 deliveries per month
- Collaborative all-CRNA practice
