A tertiary-care hospital system in Minneapolis, Minnesota is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for an ongoing locum tenens assignment with immediate start availability. This opportunity is designed for CRNAs who value clinical variety, strong support resources, and flexible scheduling within a high-acuity hospital environment. Providers will be required to float between two nearby facilities, offering exposure to a broad patient population and specialized procedures.
Full-time coverage is strongly preferred, with a minimum commitment of two weeks per month required. The department offers a wide range of shift options to accommodate provider preferences, including 8-, 10-, 12-, and 16-hour shifts. Typical start times are 6:30 a.m., with end times ranging from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Occasional overnight coverage is available for interested providers, though it is not required. Optional call opportunities include 8-hour weeknight call and 12-hour beeper call on select Saturdays.
This is a hospital-based, tertiary-care practice serving patients ages 12 and older. The anesthesia department operates under a care team model with an approximate 4:1 CRNA-to-physician ratio. A dedicated 24-hour anesthesia aide department supports room turnover, equipment, and supply needs, allowing CRNAs to focus on patient care. The clinical environment includes specialized procedures and advanced surgical services, making this role well-suited for CRNAs seeking ongoing professional development.
The facility uses Epic for charting and offers a well-organized perioperative workflow. Job Requirements
