Flexible Shift Locum CRNA Role in Lewisburg – No Call
Job Description
A locum tenens opportunity is available for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania at a 131-bed acute care hospital. This assignment offers a flexible weekday schedule with multiple shift options and no call, nights, or weekend requirements.
CRNAs will work within a medical direction model providing anesthesia services across a diverse surgical case mix, including obstetrics and cardiovascular procedures, in a supportive hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia services for a wide range of surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and develop anesthesia care plans
- Administer anesthesia and monitor patients during procedures
- Assist with airway management and intraoperative monitoring
- Provide post-anesthesia recovery care
- Document anesthesia care using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams in a medical direction model

Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Pennsylvania license required
- Ability to work in a hospital-based anesthesia setting
Schedule & Work Environment
- Locum tenens assignment starting in June
- Contract length 3–12 months with option to extend
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Shift options include 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts
- No call, nights, or weekend requirements
- 131-bed short-term acute care hospital
- Medical direction anesthesia model
- Case mix includes urology, OB, gynecology, ENT, pediatrics, cardiovascular, spine, endoscopy, general surgery, and podiatry
- Epic EMR system
- Credentialing timeline approximately 60 days
