Job Description
An acute care hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota is seeking multiple Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists for an ongoing locum tenens assignment beginning January 2026. This opportunity offers strong hourly compensation, a variety of shift options, and flexibility with optional call and overnight coverage. Practice Environment
This is an acute care hospital practice utilizing a care team model with a 4:1 supervision ratio. A brief two-day orientation is required prior to starting. The facility supports a high-volume clinical environment with diverse scheduling options and well-established anesthesia workflows.

- Inpatient and surgical procedures
- Care team anesthesia model
Schedule & Workload
- Locum tenens position
- Ongoing contract
- Full-time preferred
- Minimum commitment of two weeks per month
- Available shifts: 8, 10, 12, and 16 hours
- Typical start time: 6:30 AM
- Optional call opportunities
- Optional overnight shifts available
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provision of anesthesia care in an acute care hospital setting
- Participation in a care team anesthesia model
- Preoperative assessment and anesthesia planning
- Intraoperative management and patient monitoring
- Post-anesthesia care and handoff
Compensation & Employment Structure
- Hourly compensation: $240 per hour
- Employment model: 1099
- Paid medical malpractice coverage provided
- Optional call and overnight shifts available
Candidate Requirements
- Active Minnesota RN and CRNA licensure required
- NBCRNA certification required
- Minimum of 1 year CRNA experience required
- ACLS required
- BLS required
- New graduates not accepted
