Locum Tenens CRNA – $250/Hour | Kansas (Travel, Housing, and Malpractice Paid)
Job Description
DirectHire is seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an ongoing locum tenens assignment in Kansas beginning December 29th. This opportunity offers excellent pay, travel and housing coverage, and a variety of cases in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases including general, OB, endoscopy, urology, and orthopedic procedures.
- Perform spinals, epidurals, and regional blocks as part of daily case coverage.
- Manage patients preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively to ensure safe and effective anesthesia care.
- Collaborate with a team of three CRNAs and surgical staff to maintain efficient operating room flow.
- Utilize Medaxion EMR system for documentation and case management.
Compensation & Benefits
- $250/hour (8-hour guarantee)
- $265/hour for overtime and call-back hours
- $1,000 for 24-hour weekend call
- $300 per night for weeknight call
- Paid malpractice insurance (with coverage provided)
- Paid travel and housing accommodations
- 1099 independent contractor status
Job Requirements
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Active Kansas CRNA license required
- Proficiency with spinals, epidurals, and orthopedic blocks
- Comfortable with general, OB, endo, urology, and orthopedic cases
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Schedule & Work Environment
- Locum Tenens position beginning December 29th (ongoing)
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
- Some weeknight and weekend call
- Three CRNAs on-site daily
- Supportive hospital environment with team-based practice
