Job Description
Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center is launching a new anesthesia site in Show Low, Arizona and is seeking experienced locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to support coverage during the transition period beginning mid-March. This role offers independent CRNA practice within a community-based hospital serving northeastern Arizona.
The position is ideal for CRNAs who value autonomy, predictable scheduling, and extended time off while practicing in a modern regional medical center. Providers will join an established all-CRNA model where clinical decision-making and leadership opportunities are part of daily practice.
Practice Model & Responsibilities
- Independent anesthesia practice in an all-CRNA environment
- Provide anesthesia services for a broad hospital-based case mix
- Participate in scheduled call rotation
- Collaborate with surgical, nursing, and perioperative teams
- Maintain complete documentation and patient safety standards
Schedule & Coverage Structure
- Locum tenens assignment beginning March 17
- 3 weeks on / 1 week off rotation
- Approximately every eighth night call
- Post-call recovery time built into the schedule
- Extended time off totaling approximately 13 weeks annually
Compensation & Contract Details
- Daily locum rate starting at $2,000
- 1099 independent contractor status
- Malpractice coverage required at 1M/3M limits

Job Requirements
- Active Arizona CRNA license
- NBCRNA certification
- Current ACLS and PALS
- Comfort practicing independently in a hospital setting
- Locum experience preferred
