Job Description
This locum tenens CRNA opportunity offers an all-CRNA practice model in Northern Maine with a predictable rotational schedule and no call or weekend requirements. The role supports balanced work-life scheduling while maintaining a diverse general surgical case mix in a low-stress clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent anesthesia care in an all-CRNA practice setting
- Manage anesthesia for endoscopy, gynecology, general surgery, and urology cases
- Perform regional techniques including QL, TAP, femoral/adductor canal, and interscalene blocks
- Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations and intraoperative anesthetic management
- Ensure accurate documentation within the Cerner EMR system
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $240 per hour
- Locum tenens 1099 position
- Travel and lodging reimbursement provided
- Malpractice coverage provided through the agency
Schedule & Work Environment
- 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotational schedule
- No call and no weekends
- Daytime coverage with two providers onsite
- Start date: June 2026
Job Requirements
- Active Maine CRNA license
- NBCRNA certification required
- Current ACLS certification
- Comfort with regional anesthesia techniques
